REET Exam Guidelines Notice: Important guidelines have been issued regarding Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Examination (REET) 2025. It will be mandatory for all the candidates appearing in the exam to strictly follow these guidelines. If any candidate violates the rules, he will be expelled from the exam.

REET exam will be conducted in two shifts on February 27 and in one shift on February 28. Admit cards for the exam have been released on February 20. All the candidates appearing for the exam must bring a valid photo identity card (Aadhar card, voter ID, driving license or any other government ID) along with their admit card.

Face recognition technology will be used for the first time

Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education is using face recognition technology this time to make this examination fair and transparent. While entering the examination center, the photo on the admit card will be scanned through the barcode and fingerprints will also be taken to verify the identity of the candidate.

The examination centres will be monitored by CCTV cameras. The gate of the examination centre will be closed exactly 60 minutes before the start of the examination, so all the candidates are advised to reach the examination centre at least two hours before so that all the security checks can be completed on time.

REET 2025 Exam Candidates Registered

A total of 14,29,822 candidates have registered for the REET exam this year. Among them—

  • 3,46,625 candidates have registered for REET Level 1 (Primary Teacher).
  • 9,68,501 candidates have registered for REET Level 2 (Upper Primary Teacher).

For the successful conduct of the examination, 1,731 examination centres have been set up in 41 districts of Rajasthan.

REET Exam 2025 Guidelines

It will be mandatory for the candidates appearing in REET exam to follow some essential rules.

1. Mandatory documents at the exam center

  • Admit Card
  • Blue or black ballpoint pen
  • A photo ID (Aadhaar card, driving license, voter ID or other government ID)

2. What is prohibited to bring to the examination centre?

  • Mobile phone, smartwatch, calculator, Bluetooth device or any other electronic device
  • Watch, handbag, wallet, diary
  • Jewellery of any kind (jewellery, ring, bracelet, chain etc.)
  • Notebook or any kind of papers

If a candidate brings these items with him, he will have to keep them outside the examination centre. There will be no arrangement for safekeeping of these items at the examination centre, and the administration will not be responsible for this.

3. Time management at the exam center

  • Candidates must reach the examination centre at least 2 hours in advance.
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre after 9:00 am in the morning shift and 2:00 pm in the afternoon shift after the gate is closed.
  • No candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall before the end of the examination.

REET Exam 2025 Dress Code Special Instructions

Guidelines have also been issued regarding the dress code for the candidates appearing in the REET exam.

  • Candidates can wear shirt, T-shirt, kurta or kurti, but these should not have any pockets.
  • If a candidate wants to wear a sweater or jacket due to cold, then it should not have big buttons.
  • Only slippers or sandals with plain soles are allowed.
  • Use of any type of buttons, chains, badges or other metal objects made of metal is prohibited.

Strict action on use of unfair means

If any candidate is caught cheating or using unfair means, legal action will be taken against him/her and he/she will be immediately expelled from the exam.

What to do after the exam is over?

  • Candidates will not be allowed to take the question paper with them after the examination is over.
  • The original copy of the OMR sheet has to be submitted to the Exam Invigilator (Invigilator), while candidates can take only the “Candidate Copy” of the OMR sheet with them.

Facility for Specially Abled (PWD) Candidates

Specially Abled (PWD) candidates will be given additional time of 50 minutes in REET exam. If a candidate needs a scribe, he/she must contact the examination centre superintendent two days before the examination.
