NTPC Recruitment Form Fee

To apply in this recruitment, candidates of General, OBC and EWS category have to pay ₹ 300 application fee, while SC, ST, PWD and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from application fee. Candidates can pay the fee through both online or offline mode.

• Offline Payment: Fee can be deposited through Pay-in-slip by visiting the authorized branch of State Bank of India (SBI).
• Online Payment: Candidates can make online fee payment through Net Banking, Debit Card or Credit Card.

NTPC Recruitment Age Limit

The maximum age limit to apply in this recruitment has been fixed at 27 years. However, candidates from reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per government rules.

NTPC Recruitment Educational Qualification

Interested candidates must possess a full-time Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech/AMIE) in the relevant subject from a recognized institute. A minimum of 65% marks is required for General, OBC and EWS category candidates, while the limit is fixed at 55% for SC, ST and PWD candidates. In addition, it will be mandatory for all candidates to appear and qualify the GATE-2024 exam.

NTPC Recruitment Selection Process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of GATE-2024 scores. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and final selection will be done based on GATE scores and organization requirements. Selected candidates will have to undergo a training period of one year, after which they can be appointed at any NTPC project or station across the country.

NTPC Recruitment Salary

The selected candidates will get a starting salary of ₹40,000 per month under the pay scale of ₹40,000 to ₹1,40,000 (E1 grade). Apart from this, they will also be provided other facilities like dearness allowance, medical facilities, gratuity and pension scheme.
