JKSSB Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025 Notification, Apply Online for 292 Post

JKSSB Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025: Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) has released a notification for the recruitment of 292 posts of Junior Engineer (Electrical) in various corporations under the Power Development Department. These posts will be filled under J&K Power Transmission Corporation Limited, Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited and J&K Power Corporation Limited.

Applications for this recruitment will start from 8 March 2025 and will be accepted till 7 April 2025. Interested candidates will be required to have a diploma or bachelor’s degree (BE/B.Tech) in electrical or electronics engineering. Recruitment will be entirely based on written examination and no interview will be conducted.

JKSSB JE Recruitment Form Fee

The application fee for JKSSB Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025 is fixed differently according to the category. The application fee for General Category (GEN) candidates is ₹600/-. SC, ST and EWS category candidates will have to pay ₹500/- application fee. The application fee for disabled (PH/Divyang) candidates is also kept at ₹500/-. The payment will be made through online mode.

JKSSB Recruitment Age limit

For this recruitment, the age of the candidate should be between 18 to 40 years. Age will be calculated as per 1st January 2025. Age relaxation will be given to reserved categories as per government rules.

Graduate in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (BE/B.Tech) or AMIE (Section A & B). Diploma holder candidates can also apply.

JKSSB Recruitment Selection Process

The selection of candidates for JKSSB Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025 will be completely based on the written test (CBT).

• Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked in the exam.
• There will be provision for negative marking, ¼ (0.25) marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of performance in the exam.
• No candidate will be interviewed.
