REET Exam Biometric Attendance or Face Verification: REET 2025 exam conducted by Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer will be held in the last week of February. Preparations for the exam are going on in full swing and exam centers are being determined. This time new technologies will be used to make the exam more transparent and secure. Rajasthan Board has decided to incorporate state-of-the-art technologies like biometric attendance and face recognition to prevent fake candidates and dummy candidates in the exam.
REET Exam Biometric Attendance or Face Verification
Biometric verification and face recognition technology will be implemented in the REET exam this year. This is the first time such strictness is being maintained for any recruitment exam in Rajasthan. Under this new process, all the candidates will get entry into the examination center only after fingerprint scan and face recognition.
In the past years, cases of fake candidates and dummy candidates were reported in many recruitment examinations, which raised questions on the credibility of the selection process. To deal with this problem, security has been tightened further at the examination centers this time. Now only those candidates will be able to appear in the examination whose identity will be fully verified.
After REET Exam, Staff Selection Board will get Biometric Data
Biometric attendance and fingerprint scans will be done for all the candidates appearing in REET 2025. After the examination, this data will be handed over to the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB), so that the teacher recruitment process can be made more transparent in future.
This step will help prevent cases where other people appear in the exam in place of the candidates. Now there will be a digital record of everyone appearing in the exam, which will eliminate any possibility of cheating.
REET 2025 Exam Statement of Board Chairman
Secondary Education Board Secretary Kailash Chandra Sharma clarified that this time biometric technology is being used to make the examination completely transparent.
He informed that REET is only an eligibility test and the main exam for teacher recruitment will be conducted by Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB). Therefore, the biometric data of all the candidates will be kept safe and will be used in the further selection process.
REET 2025 Copying and Fraud Complete Ban
The use of biometric attendance and face recognition technology in the examination will help prevent fraud. Now no candidate will be able to sit in the examination in place of someone else.
What should the candidates appearing for REET 2025 exam do?
- Get your Aadhaar card updated so that you do not face any problem at the exam centre.
- Reach well in advance on the day of the exam to avoid any delay in the biometric verification process.
- Keep all the required documents ready in advance and follow the rules.
